Cast in plaster with steel spikes on an acrylic pedestal, this pair of high heels epitomizes the role women are forced to play — expected to be everything to all, while men control the power. The heels are inspired by Greek caryatids: decorative columns in the form of women, forced to be beautiful while holding up buildings for eternity.
