A provocative examination of how the patriarchy assigns value to women. Golden scales hold two identical pairs of high heels — one in the artist’s size, one Barbie-sized — with the Barbie pair weighted as dramatically more valuable. A man’s thumb is on the scale, revealing the rigged game women can never win. No matter what women do, the thumb is always there. The game was designed for us to lose.
